We are a father and son team of Ecuadorian decent and we want to introduce to you the flavors of Latin America. We learned to appreciate the variety of gastronomy through exploration of the melting pot of cuisine available in Los Angeles but it is Latin American Food that runs deep in our roots.
Joe Alarcon was born in Quito, Ecuador. He moved to Los Angeles, California as a young man and grew up enjoying the comfort foods that were indigenousness to his country.
Chef Giancarlo Alarcon was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. As a young man he found love for the kitchen while cooking next to his maternal grandfather, Julio Cesar Valencia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Italian but the kitchen continued to beckon. He completed the Culinary Arts program at Mesa Community College in 2009 and is now ready to share his talent in his own mobile kitchen.
